Hala Moddelmog

Hala Moddelmog is a business and civic leader with more than 20 years in president and CEO roles. She also serves as a corporate director for two NYSE companies – FLEETCOR Technologies and Lamb Weston – and as a board member of several blue-chip nonprofit organizations. As the first female president and CEO of the nearly 160-year-old Metro Atlanta Chamber, Hala works on behalf of FORTUNE 500 companies and SMEs in the country’s ninth largest metro region. Prior to joining MAC, Hala was president of Arby’s Restaurant Group, president and CEO of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and the first woman to lead an international restaurant company as president of Church’s Chicken. Hala’s current nonprofit boards include Georgia Public Broadcasting appointed by the Governor of Georgia, Woodruff Arts Center, The Alliance Theatre co-chair for 2017-2019 and Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business. Hala has a Master of Arts degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Georgia Southern University. She has attended executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Kellogg School of Management. Georgia Southern University awarded Hala an Honorary Doctorate of Letters.

Mike Cote

Mike Cote became chairman and CEO of Secureworks in February of 2002 and led the company through an acquisition by Dell in February of 2011. Under his leadership, the company has grown to become one of the leading security solutions firms. Prior to joining Secureworks, Mike held executive positions with Talus Solutions, a pricing and revenue management software firm acquired by Manugistics in 2000. Mike joined Talus from MSI Solutions, a web application development and systems integration company where he was Chief Operating Officer. In addition to other technology executive roles, Mike's early career included international assignments with KPMG. His leadership style is marked by open communication, high integrity, and a client-centric philosophy. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of Business Executives for National Security. Mike is a graduate of Boston College with a double major in computer science and accounting.

Phyllis W. Newhouse

Phyllis W. Newhouse is the Chief Executive Officer of Xtreme Solutions, Inc., an end-to-end IT services and solutions provider, with offerings that range from IT business consulting to state-of-the-art cyber security consulting and forensic analysis. Phyllis co-founded Xtreme Solutions in 2002 upon retiring from the United States Army as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer. Phyllis is a successful entrepreneur, proven CEO, and worldwide motivational speaker in business. Her company, Xtreme Solutions, has been recognized as being one of the 50 Fastest Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies in the United States consecutively for the past six years. Phyllis, now one of the most influential women in technology, was admitted into the 2013 class of EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ and was most recently recognized for her accomplishments as the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2017 National Technology Award winner. In 2018, Phyllis alongside with NFL Hall of Famer Ray Lewis launched Legend 52 Ventures LP, a fund conceived to drive growth and value creation by leveraging capital, strategic co-investment relationships and influence to invest in exclusive sports, technology and media properties nationally. Phyllis brings to Legend 52 extensive knowledge of business leadership strategies, innovation planning, and business growth strategies. Phyllis continues to be a source of inspiration since founding Leadership Inspirational Talks (LITalks), an organization that focuses on developing and walking with leaders through a spiritual and inspirational journey.

Pieter Penning

Pieter is a Partner in the Cyber Security and Privacy practice based in Atlanta. His engagements have included a range of organizations with focus in the Media and Entertainment, Hospitality, Technology and Retail and Consumer industries. As a leader in his field, Pieter helps his clients achieve their objectives through the successful delivery of complex cyber security solutions. He has led various enterprise-wide payment security compliance engagements as well as a broad range of cyber security-related initiatives for leading global and US-based companies. In achieving outcomes, he works with clients to define and implement strategies and solutions for addressing complex cyber security challenges and opportunities. Pieter brings to his engagements a keen sense of collaboration. Clients appreciate his thoughtful approach to problem solving, as well as his ability to define actionable plans and solutions aligned with the compliance obligations, risk appetite and vision of the organization. He is also experienced in payment card data breach response and remediation, compliance cost and risk reduction and assisting organizations develop and implement sustainable cyber security risk reduction and compliance programs. Pieter is a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and holds the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certifications.
